Poor Man\'s Heli

Saw this article over at Shay’s site today (BTW, the girl is killing it on the journalistic tip lately with her interviews and whatnots so be sure to bookmark her and buy her a beer if she’s ever in your town) and had to post the vid. It’s amazing how far the sport has come – from walking up your local hill and snurfing down, to contests at halfpipes at a dump, to mega-millionaires winning Olympic medals. I wonder if Rob Patterson and Howard Sorensen had any thoughts of sponsorship that day or if they just savored the moment and the feeling of riding down snow with their friends?
