The Deeper crew swing another episode from the back seat of their Jeeps. Dunno, the more I see these teasers the more I’m thinking I just want to see quick cut scenes of people hitting a cheesewedge while MGMT (wait, the tight jeans/hipster meets hippy 80s synth redux thing is dead? Fine, let’s go old school and throw some brohymn in there…but can we get a version where the opening bass riff is played on a keytar?) plays in the background.

Between the part in the Krakauer book I’ve been reading about flying around AK, to the new Surfers Journal article about scouting lines from a plane, makes me want to revisit getting my pilot’$ licen$e.

More teasers for the Deeper flick due out this Fall. One man’s mini golf is another’s lifetime epic.

C’mon now, look at that thing! That looking up shot at 2:09, seriously? Jeebus.

Ok, so the music is a bit overdramatic/borderline cheesy and sounds like it could have came from a videogame. But that helmetcam shot about 1:55 in made my ass pucker so hard the chair is still stuck to me.

Jeremy Jones and crew have been up in the sunshine state of Alaska for a month or so, filming for the movie Deeper due out sometime in 2010. If you’ve been following the blog you’ve noticed that I’m anxiously awaiting this movie like a 12 year old girl waiting for a Jonas Brothers concert. From posting about Travis Rice’s and Tom Burt’s splits for the trip I’ve been following it closely. Jeremy just posted his latest blog entry (along with photos) from the trip on his site and all I can say is WOW! As someone who had been burnt out on snowboarding the past few years relative to how I used to be these kind of trips and pics bring back the stoke I felt in the mid-90s! Good stuff. If you haven’t been to his site yet GO THERE NOW! Seriously, get out of here.
