REI Summer Sale and Clearance starts today. The best days of summer are still ahead so gear up and get out there.

Just saw that the REI Winter Clearance and Backcountry.com Semi-Annual sale started. All sorts of avy goodies and other fun stuff on sale. Pretty much every avalanche beacon is 25% off. Shovels by BCA, Voile and and the rest of the usual suspects all around 25% off as well. Definitely worth a look if you’re in the market. Fill in those holes in your gear quiver before the dog days of summer kick in at the REI Summer Sale & Clearance. Will see if I see anything relevant to the blog later, but for now just now they are open and ready to take your paychecks.
UPDATE 10/14/11: As this post is still getting traffic but is from an old sale I put a gear finder search box up on the top right rail to help you find any items on sale. Just go up there, type in what you’re looking for and click search and a list of items and prices matching your criteria will show up. Should help you quickly find what you want and at a price you want it at! Just saw the REI Winter Clearance is going. The snow is finally coming, may be worth checking out. Didn’t see anything too exciting and worth commenting on, seems like a lot of ‘this sale price is equal to other retailers everyday price’ but what do I know? Looks like the REI Outlet is doing their extra 30% off one item sale again. Didn’t really peruse the sale at all, usually it’s random bits and pieces, but sometimes you can find a little somethin’ somethin’.
